Stupid Old Git is my most psychedelic track yet. Imagine Tomorrow Never Knows, Syd Barrett’s Pink Floyd, Their Satanic Majesties Request era Stones, with a hint of Beck’s Odelay thrown in for good measure. I had been listening to Sean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl’s The Ghost of a Saber-Toothed Tiger (they’re so good) when I came up with this beauty…
Anyhow, a song about a very annoying, patronising, and condescending person I once knew who made things very difficult for me. We’ve all met one, I’m sure... Mixed as always by the awesome Paul Galpin.
